Start with the lesson
Reads any device or screenshot.
Your players use different devices and apps, and so do you. There is no new routine or export to learn: send what you already have. We read each screenshot and export and check its numbers before anything uses them.
From that we write the lesson recap in your voice and your brand: what you worked on, why their own numbers picked it, and a pass mark on every drill, checked at the return session. Add your house rules and a few of your own lesson write-ups, and every recap sounds like you.
You send it. Every report goes to the coach first, unless they choose to send that type of report straight through.
Then the game, for your better players
Built for tour players, enhanced with their feedback, now applied to the regular golfer. For the players who compete, the same reader builds three more pieces, and each one ends in a shot, a target or a decision.
Built from their own numbers
Every plan runs on the five non-negotiables in our house rules, and The Check matches each lay-up to the distance they score from best.
Every call made before the tee
Go, lay up or commit, hole by hole: the club, the target and the leave, settled before the round so the player only has to commit.
Every round checks the plan
The round report reads the round shot by shot, from the device they already use, and holds each hole up against the plan: what held, what cost strokes, and the decision for the next round.
A good plan takes time to build. The round report makes sure it gets read again after the round, and what it finds becomes the next lesson.
Our why
To put the coach’s voice back into every round, so every player walks to the tee knowing the decision.
Where it started
“I’ve always wanted a system I could build my coaching around, because I believe every player can play better golf the more work they put in.”
“But there are so many apps and technologies now that everything gets too complicated. So alongside my style of coaching, I wanted an adapter: something that works with any platform and turns it into reports and coaching in my voice and my brand. That’s RC Greenlight. Now every coach can have one.”
How we do it
Four principles sit under everything we build. Each one changes what the player does on the course.
Decide before the tee, not after the miss
The plan makes the call before the round, so the player never has to decide under pressure: go, lay up or commit.
Play into your good areas, around your bad ones
Every plan is built from the player’s own numbers, not a tour average. Aim where they hit greens; stay away from where they don’t.
Your voice, not ours
Every report goes out under the coach’s name, words and brand, from whatever platform the data came from. Every report goes to the coach first, unless they choose to send that type of report straight through.
Every number ends in a shot
If a stat doesn’t change a club, a target or a decision, it doesn’t go in the report.
Who we are
Partners, not a platform. Every coach who joins becomes a partner. We agree to a partnership, build it together, and every report goes out under the coach’s name.
Who’s our competition? We don’t know. We work with every platform a player already uses. The only thing we compare ourselves to is the work we did last season, the same way a player plays the course and their own plan, not the field.
A step in the journey
The Nicklaus Junior Championship at The Bear’s Club was a big step for us: one plan, built with that player before the event and carried to the course, and a first win for that junior. The coach made the calls before the tee; the player committed to them.
Say it in one line
For a player or a parent who asks why their coach uses RC Greenlight:
“So you hear me on every round, not just at the lesson, and you know the shot before you get to the tee.”
