Our why
To put the coach’s voice back into every round, so every player walks to the tee knowing the decision.
Where it started
“I’ve always wanted a system I could build my coaching around, because I believe every player can play better golf the more work they put in.”
“But there are so many apps and technologies now that everything gets too complicated. So alongside my style of coaching, I wanted an adapter: something that works with any platform and turns it into reports and coaching in my voice and my brand. That’s RC Greenlight. Now every coach can have one.”
How we do it
Four principles sit under everything we build. Each one changes what the player does on the course.
Decide before the tee, not after the miss
The plan makes the call before the round, so the player never has to decide under pressure: go, lay up or commit.
Play into your good areas, around your bad ones
Every plan is built from the player’s own numbers, not a tour average. Aim where they hit greens; stay away from where they don’t.
Your voice, not ours
Every report goes out under the coach’s name, words and brand, from whatever platform the data came from. The coach reads it before the player does.
Every number ends in a shot
If a stat doesn’t change a club, a target or a decision, it doesn’t go in the report.
What we make
All four run on the house rules: five non-negotiables under every report.
Who we are
Partners, not a platform. The report builder is our engine: it turns any platform’s data into a report in the coach’s voice, checked against the house rules. Every coach who joins becomes a partner. We agree to a partnership, build it together, and every report goes out under the coach’s name.
Who’s our competition? We don’t know. We work with every platform a player already uses. The only thing we compare ourselves to is the work we did last season, the same way a player plays the course and their own plan, not the field.
A step in the journey
The Nicklaus Junior Championship at The Bear’s Club was a big step for us: one plan, built with that player before the event and carried to the course, and a first win for that junior. The coach made the calls before the tee; the player committed to them.
Say it in one line
For a player or a parent who asks why their coach uses RC Greenlight:
“So you hear me on every round, not just at the lesson, and you know the shot before you get to the tee.”
