How · The house rules

How a number becomes a decision.

Five non-negotiables turn a player's numbers into a way to play: around the bad areas, into the good ones. Graded on every round. Four are pass or fail; the fifth is graded, because stress is a quantity. If the data forces a choice that breaks one, we flag it — we never bury it.

Lay back and you hit the fairway

If you lay back off the tee, we expect the fairway every time. If a club can't deliver that, it's the wrong club.

Wedges always find the green

Every wedge finds the green — full approaches and chips alike. On the putting surface first, inside 6 feet second.

Never leave 40–74 yards

The in-between wedge is a dead zone. We plan the lay-up into the wedge band you actually hit greens from — full or three-quarter, whichever your numbers say.

Carry by 15, or lay back by 15

Any hazard in play is either carried by 15 yards or laid back from by 15. No flirting with the edge.

Rules 1–4 are pass or fail. Rule 5 answers a level, LOW, MEDIUM or HIGH STRESS, graded on fairways, greens, chips and putts. We name the one place the round broke.

A player shouldn’t have to turn numbers into decisions on the tee. No new app: send whatever they already track and we build the game plan on the five non-negotiables, then the pre-round plan: go, lay up or commit, the club, the leave and the score to expect, hole by hole, under your name. Every lay-up is matched to the yardage band the player scores from before the plan goes out: we call it The Check. After each round, the post-round report holds the plan against how they actually played and rewrites what didn't hold.

Questions, answered.

No new app. We work with whatever system you and your players already use, in whatever form it comes out: screenshots, spreadsheets (CSV or Excel) or PDF exports, plus the course they're prepping for. It all comes back as one report under your brand. A shot-by-shot spreadsheet gives the most detail, and it's what grades a round hole by hole. Not sure what you have? Send it and we'll tell you what's usable.

You add them from your dashboard with a quick form. Each player gets their own login to see the reports you send them and share their plans. What you charge them is up to you.

RC Greenlight works through your coach. Tell us who your coach is and we'll send them a sample report. The Plan Builder is free to try in the meantime: build a game plan and take it to your coach.

Fast. Most reports come back the same day — often within minutes. Anything our checks flag is held for the coach to review before it can be sent; we'd rather be right than merely quick. Every report then comes to the coach first, to read and send.
