Five rules every plan has to pass.

These are hard rules. If the data forces a choice that breaks one, we flag it — we never bury it.

Lay-back = 100% fairway

If you lay back off the tee, we expect the fairway every time. If a club can't deliver that, it's the wrong club.

Wedges always hit the green

Every wedge, from any distance, finds the green. We set the plan up so the green is never in doubt.

Never leave 40–74 yards

The in-between wedge is a dead zone — too long to be easy, too short for a full swing. We pick the club and target that skip it.

Carry by 15, or lay back by 15

Any hazard in play is either carried by 15 yards or laid back from by 15. No flirting with the edge.

No — that's the whole point. We're data-agnostic: other platforms only work if you track inside their app; we read whatever you already have. Clippd is our preference, but any reliable shot or strokes-gained data works — screenshots, strategy briefs, gameplan PDFs, or spreadsheet shot-by-shot. If you're not sure what you have, send it over and we'll tell you what's usable.
